Book!Cat:Ned, you must go to Kings Landing to help Robert and find out what happened to Jon Arryn!
HBO!Cat:Ned, stay here with me!
Book!Cat:<during the King in the North scene> Robb, let's trade for the girls and sue for peace. You can't bring your father back.
HBO!Cat:<during the same scene> ::silent::
Book!Cat:Look, Robb, I know you don't want to negotiate with the Lannisters but you have to give them something. Okay, those terms aren't exactly what I was thinking but you're the King.
HBO!Cat:::strangely missing from the negotiation table::
Book!Cat:I don't care what you say, Robb, I'm not going home I'm staying right here by any means necessary. Also if you're going to negotiate with Balon Greyjoy you shouldn't give up our only hostage.
HBO!Cat:You can't trust Balon! I want to go home!
Book!Cat:Trying to forge an alliance with Renly Baratheon could be a good idea.
HBO!Cat:Okay, Robb, I'll go negotiate with Renly, but I really want to go home.
Book!Cat:<<discusses strategy and tactics with Renly>>
HBO!Cat:<<gets dismissed to her tent by Renly>>
Book!Cat:Releases Jaime after hearing about Rickon and Bran's "deaths", hoping to get back Sansa, who besides being her beloved daughter, is also a useful political piece (as Tywin *and* Robb would later note) and at that moment Robb's heir
HBO!Cat:Releases Jaime because all her children are held captive and she wants them back
Book!Robb:Forgives his mother because he has also done something "dishonorable"
HBO!Robb:LOL HOUSE ARREST
The worse part is that it's not even all there is.
Book!Cat:Defends herself during the attack on the way to the Vale and slits a man's throat.
HBO!Cat:Cowers in a corner with her eyes closed.
Book!Cat:Convinces Ser Robar Royce to defend Brienne, knocks out Ser Emmon Cuy with an iron brazier and sneaks out of Renly's camp with Brienne in stride.
HBO!Cat:Shows less initiative than Brienne (the girl who just witnessed the death of the man she loved).
Book!Cat:Accepts the full responsibility of her actions (releasing Jaime) and tells everyone she will willingly be punished for it.
wait, there's a few more (nights-watch)
Book!Cat:-thinks about if Jon Snow's mom ever thought about Ned and cried at the word of his death-
HBO!Cat:-forgets the existance of Jon Snow after episode two of the first season-
Book!Cat:-praying in the gods wood after she hears about Ned's death-
HBO!Cat:We will kill them all.
Book!Cat:"My place is with my father. He can die at any time."
HBO!Cat:-starting to regret travelling anywhere in the first place-
Book!Cat:I dont care if you're sorry about Ned's death! That isn't going to bring him back! Stannis, Renly, put your cocks back into your breaches and help my son! He's only 15!
HBO!Cat:omg thank you, i hope you avenge his death, but before i ask you to help my son, lemme berrade you like youre both 6 year olds, ultimately insulting your manliness.
but also robb's kinda, er... (nights-watch)
Book!Robb:My brothers are dead...my best friend betrayed me... Please hold me, Jeyne.
HBO!Robb:That's a really sad story, and im gonna let you finnish, but i got the biggest boner of all time rn.
a certain scenario would never occurred. Actually more than one certain scenario would never occurred. YOU KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. -coughredweddingcough-
Catelyn Stark is one of the best female characters. Ever.
but the fact that she’s a female, and she’s a mother, and she kidnapped one of the most likeable characters, Oh, and she hates Jon Snow, suddenly she’s public enemy number one in the fandom.
people say that because Catelyn took Tyrion that the war is her fault…
You know what
if it weren’t for Cersei, who felt the need to fuck her brother while in Winterfell, or fucked him at all, or basically aborted her first born child ON PURPOSE, this shit wouldn’t have happened. Joffrey wouldn’t have existed, and Renly would still be alive, and Stannis would be stuck in dragonstone, because there WOULD BE a true heir to the throne. but oo no, gotta give that shit to the deeply disturbed son, conceived of incest.
Catelyn Stark did nothing but her duty. Family. Duty. Honor.
Cersei only cares about her family (which is fucked beyond repair), but she hasn’t done her duty, and she has no honour. And now look where she is. She doesn’t know WHAT to do, and she’s stumbling over her skirts, needing the help of men. Without her gold cloaks, or her brothers, or her father, she’s nothing.
Who know who helps Catelyn out? A woman. Catelyn doesn’t need the help of men. She’s cause such a commotion without Ned, without her father, without her brothers, or without her sons.
because she’s super mom.
And later in the series, she’s one of the most frightening badass characters ever.
Comedian Guy Branum (Chelsea Lately) explains Game of Thrones in this hilarious new video. Thought I'd let you know since you're a big fan. The video is featured on our Tumblr and The Thrash Lab channel on YouTube. You can also find it by searching "The Factuary: Game of Thrones" on Google.
YOU HAVEN'T READ THE BOOKS YET IT MAKES THE SHOW SO MUCH BETTER REWATCH EVERYTHING AFTER YOU FINISH ASDFGHJKLDJHGAS
actually, I disagree. Like I said before, about a million times, I know what happens in the book, because I come across spoilers quite often. and I enjoyed the first season before I read the first book, and I’m not enjoying the second season, because I read most of the second book, and I think that’s because I know what they got wrong, and the timelines, so I’m having a hard time enjoying the show as much as I used to, BECAUSE I read the books.
It has a little bit of Robb OC since the plot deals with him.
Summary: Kyra Athens was a broken thing, thanks to Theon Greyjoy, Robb Stark, and Jon Snow. Time doesn’t heal all wounds, it just festers it. She had been teased her entire childhood by Robb Stark and Theon Greyjoy, but never by Jon Snow. Except for that one time eight years ago. Now she and her family are back, and she finds out that her Lord Father and Mother are arranging a marriage for her to Robb Stark. Jon/OC and a bit Robb/OC. The story is more detailed than just the summary.
Feedback please? even if it’s just the prologue.
I’ll be, kinda, collaborating with my boyfriend who’s writing his own GoT fanfic, so you will reading bits of information discussing things that are happening in his story, which is a DaenerysOC
I’ll be making graphics for my story too, so this isnt the last time you’ll hear about it XD
everyone would do the exact same thing. If he didn't he ran the risk of himself, Cersei, joffrey, myrcella, and tommen all being killed by Robert. Jaime is a great guy.
No, not everyone would do the exact same thing. I wouldn’t. Especially if it was a little kid. Also, since Bran was so young, it’s really easy to manipulate a kid into keeping a secret. All he had to do was threaten his life, or the life of someone he loves. Jaime didn’t HAVE to push him off the side of the tower. In any case, it still wouldn’t happen if he and Cersei didn’t do anything in the first place.
Him and Cersei are characters that I want to like, but can’t.
I’m not saying that Jaime is a bad guy, which you are trying to make my answers seem out to be, he just isn’t my favourite character for my own reasons, and if I knew him in real life, I probably wouldn’t like him as a person. Again, like I said, just because he turns out to be a good guy in the end, doesn’t mean I’m obligated to like him.
In any case, in the group I was given, Jaime, Tyrion and Jon, I was asked a Fuck, Marry, or Kill, and seeing as Jaime is my least liked character of the group, I’m obviously going to say kill him.
so I don’t understand why you’re making an argument about my opinion on someone that doesn’t exist, based off of a FMK answer.
HAVE YOU READ THE BOOKS? Jaime is the coolest motherfucker in westeros and beyond and one of if not the best character in the series.
I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m finishing Clash of Kings. But I already know what’s happened, since running two got blogs always ends up me finding spoilers. Which I don’t mind. So I know what he does, and know what he becomes, but compared to Tyrion and Jon, I’d kill Jaime. One of the bigger factors is because he crippled Bran, and if you think about it, that single moment defined the road that lead to the war.
for the fuck/marry/kill; Jaime, Tyrion, and Jon Snow?
Well, I’d kill Jaime, because I love Bran and I’m still but-sore about that >_>
Tyrion and Jon are difficult. I’d love to marry Jon, but since he took the Black, we can’t. So the logical decision is, to marry Tyrion (which is still awesome, because he’d be an awesome husband), and fuck Jon Snow. Even if Jon Snow is my fictional soul mate.
