There has be an increase of slut-shamming in media lately, and on tumblr, twitter, and facebook. I just want to address this issue like a few others I was glad to find. Slut shamming is no different than nerd-shamming. By telling each other it’s not right to dress a certain way, you’re telling men that it’s okay for them to tell us that too, and thus pulling feminism back. 

Women fought for thousands of years to be with the ranks of men. And attire, while may sound trivial to some, was a huge leap foreword in feminism in the turn of the century. 

relevant, because there’s a theme in the GoT fandom that female fans only like the tom-boyish female heroines, like Arya and Dany. While they are awesome, it doesn’t mean that characters like Sansa or Cersei or Catelyn aren’t just because they aren’t rugged and unconventional.
